    Summary

    We created a new product for research, microtargeting, communication, and statistics using publicly available demographic data, distributed systems, machine learning, and streaming on the cloud.

    IDEIA is a survey company that provides demographic analysis and microtargeting services to political campaigns, non-profits, and corporations. The company was founded in 2011 and has developed a unique methodology that integrates traditional and modern information gathering techniques, utilizing crowdsourcing for anthropological studies to innovate in the field of public opinion research.

    I guided the company's development of their IT infrastructure and products, improving the company's development process and training policy, defining the career ladder, reporting the company strategy and vision to investors, improving the observability and monitoring, evaluating product existing and new features with clients, measuring their engagement and feedback, and optimizing the cloud infrastructure for scalability and reliability while reducing the cost.

    Microtargeting with Data Inteligence

    Alexandria was the main product of the company. It was a created to be the platform for the company to combine the data from the different sources, do data cleaning, feature extraction, and data visualization. It should also was used to define the demographics of the target audience, to create the microtargeting campaigns, and consume the data from the different sources to create the statistics and reports. The clients could extract reports with insights from the data, and use them to improve their campaigns and products.

    We developed the new product Alexandria to be the platform for the company to combine the data from the different sources, do data cleaning, feature extraction, and data visualization. It was used to improve the quality of the data, the accuracy of the reports, and the speed of surveys. The clients used to extract reports with insights from the data, and use them to improve their campaigns and products. The company was able to increase the number of clients, revenue, the speed to create and run surveys, and the quality of the reports.
